STUDENT OFFICER APPLICATION FORM

Students applying for a position as a Student Officer must submit this form together with a personal statement. Platon School reserves the right to request teacher recommendation if deemed necessary. Personal statements should include the candidate’s MUN experience and language qualifications. Furthermore, they should outline the candidate’s leadership abilities, academic performance, school as well as any extra-curricular activities.

All candidates should be prepared to attend 3 online workshops prior to the Conference and all Student Officer applicants must have an interview.

Greek candidates who are not native speakers of English must have a Proficiency Certificate and prior MUN experience.

All Student Officers are expected to write explicit study guides prior to the Conference. Other obligations include: assisting delegates with their research and preparation of their resolutions, guiding them during the Conference, and providing assistance in both the lobbying process and during debate.
