INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The company of PLATON SCHOOL S.A., based in Glyka Nera Attikis, Eleftheriou Venizelou Str., postal code 153 54, Greece, tel. (+30) 210 66 11 793-4, e-mail: info@ps-mun.gr, as the data controller, and specifically the department Platon School Model United Nations (hereafter PS-MUN), is organizing the special Conference on the “Paradox of Progress” on the 1st-3rd of March 2024 (hereinafter Conference). PS-MUN will collect and process personal data such as photographs and video coverage taken during the Conference in which the individuals participating may appear. The purpose of this form is to provide all the necessary information regarding collecting and processing your personal data during the Conference.
- Purpose of Processing
Photographs or recordings (videos) will be taken during the Conference. Your personal data will be processed to publicize the Conference and PS-MUN’s activities and events and to keep historical records.
- Personal data
During the Conference, photographs or recordings will be taken, including your personal data, such as your position at the Conference, image, and voice. PS-MUN ensures that the images shown are not combined with other personal data such as your name or school name.
In some cases, we may publish group photos of participants or photographs in which individuals appear randomly in the background. In these cases, we ensure that individuals cannot be identified from the image.
- Lawfulness of processing
Processing is based solely on your consent (articles 6, 7, and 8 GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn anytime by contacting PS-MUN at +302106611793 or by e-mail at info@ps-mun.gr. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
- Third parties and Safety of Personal Data
The photographs and recordings are used in school displays, on the PS-MUN website and social media, and for publicity purposes in printed publications.
The photographs and recordings will be processed by PS-MUN’s photographer, teachers, and other school staff preparing and participating in the Conference. PS-MUN will not share your data with third parties except as expressly mentioned above.
All the necessary technical and organizational measures are applied to ensure the security of your data (passwords to access the data, email encryption SSL-256 bit, etc.)
- Data Retention Time
We ensure that the archives are validated and reviewed regularly (once a year, prior to the Conference). In the absence of legal claims, the personal data collected is kept on record for a period of 5 years from the date of the Conference, whereas the audiovisual material is deleted only upon request.
- Rights
